Schedule

Day 1

Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the Center of City and have lunch at a restaurant.

Check in at the hotel and relax.

The city tour begins at the century-old Reunification Palace also known as Independence Palace, a landmark of Ho Chi Minh City which witnessed the growth of Ho Chi Minh City during peacetime and throughout the Vietnam War until its end in 1975.

Stopover in front of the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as:

  • The Notre Dame Cathedral
  • The historic Central Post Office

Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars OR Hochiminh city History Museum. 

Stop at the City People’s Committee, Opera House and Walking Street Nguyen Hue.

Have dinner and go back to the hotel. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 2

Discover Mekong Delta

Have breakfast. Check out the hotel. Pick up at the hotel then move to My Tho city (about 1.5h).

Drive to My Tho. On the way, stop by to visit the ancient pagoda more than 100 years old – Vinh Trang pagoda, the largest Buddhist temple in Tien Giang province.

Drive to the boat wharf and then board the boat to continue the journey along the banks of the Mekong River. Admire the beauty of four islands named by the four mythical creatures: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix.

Stop at Unicorn Island to visit crocodile farm, honey farm and enjoy glasses of honey tea – very good for health. You will also visit coconut candy village, experience making coconut candy by hand.

Have lunch.

Paddle a sampan through the canals fringed with coconut palms on both sides. The sampan will take you along the river to participate in the thrilling fish catching activity.

Explore Phoenix Island – one of four famous island of Tien Giang province.

  • Visit the Coconut Religion Historical Sites in Ben Tre with a construction built over 50 years with a total area of about 1,500m2. Admire the unique architectural works remaining of the monument that are preserved almost intact: Nine Dragon Yard, Nine-storey Tower, Earth Globe, Apollo Spaceship, North-South Road, Eight Trigrams Platform, Three Gates, Nine Peaks.
  • Visit the Coconut Museum – where collects and recreates the life of the people of Coconut Land. Many images of life as well as musical instruments, utensils made from coconut trees are displayed here. The most special thing is that the museum is made entirely from coconut trees.
  • Visit the famous coconut candy production facility, handicrafts from coconut. You can visit and shop at the handicraft facility made from parts of coconut trees: spoons, teapots, funny animals, coconut oil,… In addition, you can also witness the production process of coconut candy from peeling, scraping, cooking… and enjoy hot, delicious coconut candy just out of the oven.

16:00 Check-in at the hotel and then rest freely.

18:00 Have dinner.

Day 3

Can Tho

Have breakfast. Check-out the hotel.

Pick up at the hotel, then go down to the boat wharf and start a new day by boarding a boat to visit: 

  • The Cai Rang floating market, the largest and most vibrant wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the boat and try some of the fantastic noodles, one-of-a-kind local cuisine, and fresh tropical fruits. Get a closer look at life on a boat and witness the colorful and lively scenes of trading and bargaining.
  • The local noodle factory (family business) to see how to make rice noodles in the traditional way demonstrated step by step.
  • Binh Thuy communal house and Munir Ansay Pagoda – a Khmer pagoda, renowned for its unique structure.

Have lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4

Hoi An arrival

Have breakfast.

Shopping at Ben Thanh Market – an old symbol of Saigon from past to present. This is a long-standing and quite ancient market built in 1870. Guests are free to shop for specialties, souvenirs with Vietnamese characteristics.

Have lunch.

In the afternoon, depart from Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) in HCMC and arrive at Da Nang International Airport (DAD) in Da Nang. 

Transfer to Hoi An.

Have dinner.

Check in the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5

Hoi An city tour

Have breakfast. 

Start cycling to visit the local market in Hoi An to interact with the local vendors, buy the local products, and learn about the different ingredients used in Vietnamese cuisine.

  • Next, ride to Tra Que organic vegetable village.
  • Attend a cooking class with a professional and enthusiastic chef, where you can learn how to cook four iconic Vietnamese dishes: Green Papaya Salad, Spring Rolls, Crispy PanCake (“Bánh Xèo”), and Fish/Pork in a clay pot.
  • Savor your lunch with the dishes you have cooked.

Discover the rural life of Cam Thanh Village, where you can enjoy various activities such as basket boat rides, fishing, etc. Cam Thanh Village is a perfect destination for those who want to experience the rural life and nature of Vietnam.

Have dinner.

Enjoy the cultural performance “Hoi An Memories show” – turn back to the glorious era of Hoi An over 400 years ago. The largest outdoor art show in Vietnam with a harmonious blend of music, light and visual art (personal expense).

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6

Da Nang City tour

Have breakfast. Check out the hotel.

Visit My Son Sanctuary, a complex of ancient Hindu temples that date back to the Champa Kingdom. The site is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and showcases the rich cultural and architectural heritage of Vietnam.

Have lunch. Continue

  • Explore The Marble Mountain. You can climb up the stairs or take an elevator to reach the top, where you can see panoramic views of the city and the sea. 
  • Visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, a traditional village that is known for its skilled artisans who create various products from marble. 
  • Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda, a majestic Buddhist temple that is located on a hill overlooking the sea. 

Check in the hotel in Da Nang and relax.

Have dinner.

Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 7

Explore Ba Na Hills - Da Nang

Have breakfast. Depart to Ba Na Hills. Take a ropeway to Ba Na Hills, one of the longest and highest in the world, and offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Experience all attractions and amusements at Ba Na Hills, such as: 

  • The Golden Bridge, which is a famous landmark in Ba Na Hill. The bridge is supported by two giant stone hands and spans 150 meters across a valley. 
  • The French Village, which is a replica of a medieval European town. The village has many architectural features such as castles, churches, squares, and gardens.
  • Fantasy Park, which is an indoor amusement park that features many games and rides for all ages. The park has different themes such as Jurassic Park, Fairy Forest, Adventure Land, and more.
  • Visit Linh Ung Pagoda, which is a Buddhist temple located on the hill. The pagoda has a 27-meter-high statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, which is the largest in Vietnam. 

Have a lunch buffet in Ba Na Hills. Back to Da Nang city. Stopover to check in at Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge Da Nang. 

Have dinner and free time to explore Danang city at night.

Day 8

Hue city

Have breakfast. 

Check out the hotel. Depart to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam and another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • On the way, visit Khai Dinh’s Tomb, a royal tomb that belongs to the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb is a unique blend of Vietnamese and European architecture, with elaborate decorations and sculptures.
  • Discover The Imperial City of Hue. You can explore the historical and cultural relics that reflect the glory and decline of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty.

Have lunch.

Check in the hotel and relax. Have dinner.

Enjoy the Hue Folk Show on the Perfume River. You can watch the show on a boat that cruises along the river, and admire the illuminated bridges and monuments along the way. Overnight in Hue.

Day 9

End trip at Phu Bai Airport (HUI) in Hue

Have breakfast. Free time to relax.

Check out the hotel. Transfer to Phu Bai Airport (HUI) in Hue and take a flight for the next destination.
