Vietnam has officially secured the 3rd spot in Agoda’s 2025 Return Visitor Rank, right behind Japan and Thailand, based on booking data from the first half of this year.

According to Agoda’s data, the five most revisited destinations in Vietnam so far in 2025 are Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Phu Quoc Island. The three beach paradises — Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc — continue to draw travelers with white-sand shores, clear waters, and sun-soaked resorts. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi captivate with their vibrant energy, rich history, and culinary scenes that blend tradition with innovation. In July alone, Vietnam welcomed 1.56 million international tourists, pushing total arrivals for the first seven months to 12.2 million — a 22.5% increase year-on-year, according to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT).
