Vietnam has been nominated in many categories of the World Tourism Awards 2024
Vietnam National Tourism Administration (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) announced on May 11 that The 31st World Travel Awards for Asia and Oceania is opening its gates.
Vote at www.worldtravelawards.com; as its deadline is on July 23, 2024.
This year, nationally, Vietnam is honored to be nominated for many special categories, which include:
- Asia’s Leading Beach Destination 2024;
- Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination 2024;
- Asia’s Leading Destination 2024;
- Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination 2024;
- Asia’s Leading Natural Destination 2024;
- Asia’s Leading Youth Travel Destination 2024.
Along with that, numerous big cities in Vietnam also earn a position in the following categories:
The Vietnam National Tourism Administration was also nominated for the category Asia’s Leading Tourism Board 2024. Many of Vietnam’s key tourist destinations were also nominated in different categories.
Among them, the Hanoi Department of Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism were nominated as Asia’s Leading City Tourist Board 2024. Quang Nam Department of Tourism was nominated for the title of Asia’s Leading Regional City Tourist Board 2024.

Along with that, Ho Chi Minh City was nominated for the category of Asia’s Leading Business Travel Destination 2024. Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City were both nominated for Asia’s Leading Festival and Event Destination 2024.

Ha Nam is also named in the category of Asia’s Leading Regional Cultural Destination 2024. Hanoi was nominated in two categories: Asia’s Leading City Break Destination 2024 and Asia’s Leading City Break Destination 2024.

Phu Quoc was nominated for Asia’s Leading Luxury Island Destination 2023 award (Asia’s leading luxury island destination). Moc Chau was nominated as Asia’s Leading Regional Natural Destination in 2024.

In addition, Vietnamese tourism also received many other nominations in the fields of aviation, hotels, travel, and top tourist attractions in Asia. In 2023, Vietnam was honored to be named in 45 Asia’s Top Award categories. This is to affirm the brand and special attraction of Vietnamese tourism.
