The day after, the Ambassador of Central Vietnam at that time, Gzeffeuil, visited Tien Son cave, so it was called “Kham Su Cave”. In 1936, French archaeologist Madeleine Colani went to the cave to look for ancient Vietnamese relics in the cave but could not find them. However, she believed that the landscape of Tien Son cave was like a fairyland.

In 1999, The British Royal Cave Association conducted a survey of this entire 980.6 m long cave and Quang Binh put it into tourism exploitation on 9th April, 2000. The cave welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each year.
