Day 1
HANOI - NINH BINH
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Then, transfer to Ninh Binh Province – Vietnam’s “Inland Ha Long Bay”. This UNESCO World Heritage site features a stunning system of limestone caves and historical relics from the Tran Dynasty.
Here, you will experience:
- A two-hour boat ride along the Tam Coc Stream. Enjoy spectacular scenery as you glide through the river, surrounded by lush rice paddies and majestic limestone mountain peaks.
- As the boat enters these grottos, you will feel a refreshing coolness, with stalactites resembling iridescent pearls. The grottos are adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes and colors that sparkle like gemstones.
Have lunch at a riverside restaurant and rest.
After lunch, we will take a short trip down a peaceful country road to Hoa Lu – Vietnam’s ancient capital of the 10th and 11th centuries. Here, you will:
- Visit ancient temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le.
- Discover Bich Dong Pagoda nestled in lush greenery, featuring three separate temples.
Then return back to Hanoi.
End of trip.
