EXPLORE VAM SAT MANGROVE FOREST

Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and start our trip to explore Ho chi Minh city:

• • Visit the Reunification Palace (Independence Palace), where the President of South Vietnam lived and worked until the war ended in 1975. 
  • Visit Saigon Central Post Office – one of Ho Chi Minh City’s famous destinations. Here, you can write your own letter and send it to your loved ones like in the 90s.

• Take a photo with Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral – one of the must-see attractions in Ho Chi Minh City (outside only)

Have lunch at restaurant. Then, head to Chinatown, start to visit:

• Thien Hau Temple – one of the oldest historical pagodas of Chinese people in Ho Chi Minh city.

• On the way, you will admire Hai Thuong Lan Ong street Decoration Street, where dozens of decoration stores sell thousands of colorful decorations.

• Binh Tay Market – a wholesale market located in the heart of Chinatown. Binh Tay market not only well knowns as Chinatown biggest market, but also famous for its unique architecture 

Have dinner. Free time to explore Ho Chi Minh city

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Have breakfast at hotel and check out. 

Then transfer to Can Gio -Vam Sat Mangrove Forest, listed as the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO.

8:30 Arrive at Dan Xay station in Can Gio. 

8:30 – 8:45: Start our visit by taking a speedboat to discover the natural landscape of the Vam Sat mangrove forest and learn more about the locals’ daily lives living along the river banks.

8:45 – 9:45: Boating on a rowboat to explore Bat Sanctuary Swamp. Floating through Duoc forest to admire the beauty of Mangrove Forest.

9:45 – 11:00: After visiting Bat Sanctuary Swamp, head to Vam Sat Eco Park Canter. Arrive at the Park, take a ride to:

• Visit Hoa Ca Crocodile Reserve Fram, where you can learn the process of hatching  crocodile eggs and witness them in their natural environment. 
• Try your brave with thrilling crocodiles fishing activity 
• Observe long tail monkeys in their natural habitat. 

11:00 – 11:30: Visit 26-meter Tang Bong Tower located in the center of the forest. You can climb up and observe the immensely panoramic views of the Vam Sat mangrove forest from here. You can also challenge yourself with a suspension bridge.

11:30 Have lunch at restaurant. 

After lunch, free time to stroll around the forest, enjoy the fresh air, immerse yourself in the immense green mangrove forests or experience crab catching or fishing activities (personal expense)

14:00 Back to the canoe, transfer to Dan Xay station. Head back to Ho Chi Minh city. End trip
