DISCOVER NAM CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK

8:00 You will be picked up from your hotel by our car and our tour guide will give you all the information you need about each place you visit. Drive for about 3.5 hours to a former volcanic crater, where you can see the Lava tubes. Cross the Dong Nai River to enter Nam Cat Tien National Park, where your wildlife adventure begins.

Arriving around 12:00 you will enter the park and the staff of Rooms in the Central Area of the National Park will welcome you and take you to the resort by electric car. After check-in, have lunch at the restaurant of the Park center, which faces the river and jungle.

14:00 Walking or biking tour into the jungle to discover plant and animal life. 

• Discovery: Lagerstroemia Ovalifolia (Bang Lang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus Tectorius (Trung quan). 

17:00 Back to the Park center for dinner.

19:00 Take an electric car to the restaurant at the center of the park for dinner. 

• After the dinner, you will have a private jeep take you for an hour of animal watching before returning for an overnight stay at the lodge.

Overnight at Nam Cat Tien.

Wake up to the sounds of the forest and have breakfast. 

7:30 Take a jeep ride for 20 minutes (10km) to the starting point of your trek. 

• From there, you will hike for an hour (5km) to Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake), a stunning lake surrounded by the jungle and home to many crocodiles. 
• Get on a boat and paddle around the lake for an hour, enjoying the views of birds, crocodiles, and wild lotus. 

Then, you will head back to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, take a 6-km walk through the forest to see some rare and endangered species listed in the World Red Book. 

• You might spot some amazing birds like the Bronze-winged Jacana, the lesser adjutant, and the Purple Heron. 
• See some colorful and exotic birds like the Orange-breasted Trogon and the Pale-headed Woodpecker. 

17:00 Back to the Park center for dinner.

Overnight at Nam Cat Tien.

7:00 Start your day with a soothing song of birds as you enjoy your breakfast. 

8:00 Take a car ride for 12 km on the forest road to reach Ta Lai Ethnic village, where you can discover the history and culture of the Ma, Stieng, and Tay ethnic groups. You will learn about their traditions, customs, and beliefs, and see how they live in harmony with nature.

• Visit the Ta Lai memorial prison, where you can see valuable images of the American war that took place on this land.

Back to the Park center to check out and have lunch.

After that, board our vehicle and head back to Ho Chi Minh City. 

End the tour at your hotel.
